When I tried to drop my classes due to an illness, I called and asked for withdrawal before the cut off date. They said they would get back to me with the confirmation and refund information.

They took weeks to get back to me and the deadline had expired. Now I am stuck with loans for classes I did not attend. After some research I found that this is a common occurrence with Capella. I have also seen complaints by veterans that they were targeted.

Don't expect any help from the people at Federal student aid. They seem to be more interested in protecting the for profit predators, at the expense of students.

If you attend this school you will likely regret it.

I was withdrawn from a class after 12 days of a 10 week course. Now I am stuck with a $2300 bill and I exhausted over $55,000.

Of my post 911 GI bill plus a $7000. Student loan. The university has put a hold on my enrollment and two courses away from graduation.

I was told my account was reported to collection and my good credit will be danish. Really ???
